Need help buying a tripod for my Canon 50D?
I was using a tripod, which came free with a purchase. Finally, I'm broke and in need of a good tripod. I tried to find a local photo shop and had no idea what my options are confused, or try to sell the most expensive store! Can anyone help me find a good tripod that meets my needs? Price limit is $ 350 must be compatible with 15 pounds and is very stable smooth uneven ground bread I should be able to block the camera in any position to stay where I put enough light to hike one hour the woods with all my other computers (5.6 lbs max) I prefer flip-lock legs and something that is not bare metal, because I live in Alaska and prefers not to touch the metal when it is -40!

I was looking at carbon fiber, if you can you can. This is not metal to be much better to get to -40. It is also much lighter than aluminum.
