It’s loaded with features and offers electronic self-leveling, so it uses gears in place of a pendulum to find level. This rotary laser level is accurate to 1/16 at 100 feet and has a working range of 2000 feet in diameter when used with the included detector. As one of Johnson Level & Tool’s top of the line outdoor construction laser levels, it features a reinforced metal roof and and a glass enclosed beacon to perform in windy conditions and offers electronic self-leveling, so it uses gears in place of a pendulum to find level. This rotary laser level is accurate to 1/16 at 100 feet and has a working range of 2000 feet in diameter when used with the included detector. The 40-6537 also has visual and audible alarms for when you’re beyond leveling range. An electronic beam shield lets you turn the laser beam off in one to three quadrants when you’re using multiple lasers.
